Virtual World Summit of Democracy Defenders: October 7, 2021

Watch our President, Rosalia Miller, as she converses with other leaders on the state of democracy in Nicaragua and around the world.

This event, co-hosted by Juan Guaido, Interim President of Venezuela and the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, gave an opportunity to send a strong message in defence of democracy to authoritarian regimes.

This first meeting of democratic movements leaders of the world included:

Juan Guaido (Venezuela), Nathan Law (Hong Kong), Rosalia Miller and Levis Rugama (Nicaragua), Bobby Wine (Uganda), Javier Larrondo (Cuba), Dr Sassa (Myanmar), and Veronika Tsepkalo - to be confirmed (Belarus) will send a strong message to stop authoritarianism and defend democracy.

Each leader presented the state of affairs of their movement and how it defends democracy across the world.
